The Valencia Shelter and all shelters throughout the state welcomes volunteers. You can walk a shelter dog!  It’s a great way to help at your convenience. Valencia County Shelter hours are 9-5 Tuesday-Saturday, 1209 New Mexico Hwy, Los Lunas, 505-866-2479.

Wish List
We are in greatest need of veterinarians and vet techs to help us with future low cost spay neuter clinics.  We are also in need of more volunteers for fundraising and future spay neuter clinic management.

The Valencia Shelter is always in need of food & supplies. Your contribution is so much appreciated by the shelter employees and the animals!  Items directly needed for the Valencia County Animal Shelter can be dropped off at the shelter.  Shelter hours are 9-5 Tuesday-Saturday, 1209 New Mexico Hwy, Los Lunas, 505-866-2479.  Please email us at spayneuternm@gmail.com to arrange pick up or drop off or with any questions.
